Google Webmaster Tools Manual Action – NEW

Google has released a new function to webmaster tools!

The Google WebSpam Manual Actions tool will provide information on any manual webspam actions that Google has applied to your website.  In most cases you will see a message that says, “No manual webspam actions found.”

Partial match. User-generated spam affects mattcutts.com/forum/

You can find the link to Manual Action under the Search Traffic tab of your webmaster tools account.

Google will continue to email you if they have taken any anti-spam action against a given domain but you can keep track and refer to the specific details here.  Once you have resolved the problem you may submit a “request a review” directly from this page.

This should re-assure webmasters that they have not been hit with a manual penalty by Google.  However, if you find that your site has dropped in the rankings or Google has applied a manual penalty then contact us for help on recovering your website ranking.
